I am a passionate and dedicated programmer currently pursuing a Computer Science major with minors in Mathematics and Business at Brandeis University. Throughout my academic journey, I have immersed myself in the world of full-stack development, gaining expertise in a wide range of programming languages, frameworks and databases, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, React.js, Flask, MongoDB, SQL, pandas, and Bash. What truly fuels my enthusiasm is the opportunity to work in a team to create groundbreaking solutions that address pressing issues and drive positive change. Work
Software Engineer Intern
- Collaborated with 10+ interns to complete a tech consulting project focused on developing an advanced content indexing and recommendation system constituting one-third of the Israeli tech startup InBe's total infrastructure.
- Trained a generative transformer LLM and set up a PostgreSQL database that models advanced interactions among users, skills and content.
- Designed and built over 20 REST API routes with Flask, and 4 specialized web scrapers with Scrapy.
Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Fundamentals of Computing
- Provided individual and group support to 100+ students on coding projects through online and in-person office hours.
- Analyzed and graded 20+ students' algorithms bi-weekly and gave constructive feedback on how to make them more efficient and modular.
- Led weekly recitations and review sessions for 100+ students to reinforce their understanding of concepts discussed during class, such as sorting algorithms, complexity analysis, linked lists, stacks, queues, hashing, trees, graphs, heaps, and priority queues.
Involvement
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
- Networked and formed connections with Black student engineers and alumni from over 500 chapters across the United States and engaged in professional development workshops and seminars offered by NSBE.
ColorStack
- Networked and formed connections with Black and Latinx computer science students and alumni from over 700 schools across the United States creating the strongest cross-campus community of its kind to deliver community building, academic support and career development opportunities.
Roses In Concrete
- Mentored Black, Latinx, Asian and Indigenous students from Waltham High School to create a safe environment where they can seek advise on the systemic challenges folks experience on their path to career exploration.
